Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 10 June 2026These are the terms for working with Digital Twin Imaging, run by Belinda Bullock in Auckland, New Zealand.
Agreeing to these terms
Accepting a quote, making a payment, or proceeding with a booking confirms that you have read and understood these terms and conditions, agree to them, and accept responsibility for your digital twin.
What a digital twin is
A digital twin is a realistic AI-generated version of you, created from filmed and recorded content. It is designed to help you create content, not to be a perfect replica. Small differences in tone, expression, or timing are normal and expected, and some of them cannot be predicted in advance.
Results and expectations
How well your twin works depends on consistent, realistic use. Results vary from person to person, and perfection is not promised. This is a technology-based service and results may improve over time. I cannot promise specific outcomes such as a particular number of followers, leads, or sales, because those depend on many things beyond the twin itself.
Your responsibility
You agree to follow the preparation instructions, arrive on time and camera-ready, and present yourself as you normally would for your work. Significant changes to your appearance, voice, posture, or delivery after filming may reduce how accurately your twin represents you.
Payment and retainer
A retainer is required to secure your booking and is non-refundable. Your payment covers planning, studio time, technical preparation, and the initial training sessions agreed with you. Prices are agreed before we start.
Payment cannot be refunded or transferred for any reason, including change of mind or dissatisfaction with the technology.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- Cancelling with at least seven days' notice may be considered for a refund.
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice results in a 50% loss of the retainer, and is subject to availability.
How you can use your twin
You can use your twin for marketing, education, social media, and internal business purposes. You may not sell or license your twin, or use it to falsely represent yourself or someone else. The footage and the twin built from it are yours to use for your business. The technical processes, teaching materials, guides, and resources I create remain mine and are for your own use, not for resale or redistribution.
Usage and responsibility
Once you have your twin and the skills to use it, you take full responsibility for how it is deployed. You agree not to use your twin for anything illegal, misleading, or harmful. I am not responsible for content you create using your twin, or for any personal, business, legal, or financial outcomes that result from its use.
Third-party platforms
Digital twins are built and run using third-party AI platforms such as HeyGen and similar tools. These are owned and controlled by other companies, not by me. This matters:
- If a platform changes its features, pricing, or rules, I cannot control that.
- If a platform stops working, removes a feature, or shuts down, and your twin no longer works as a result, I cannot be held responsible.
- You may need your own account or subscription with a platform to keep using your twin. Those costs are separate from what you pay me.
- I cannot guarantee how third-party platforms will accept, process, or display content made with your twin, as that is outside my control.
Security and your likeness
The platforms used to create digital twins are built to be secure, and I take care with your footage. No online platform can be guaranteed to be completely safe, so I cannot give an absolute guarantee against a third party misusing or copying your likeness, since that depends on platforms and people outside my control.
Reshoots and extra work
Reshoots are not included unless they are stated in your quote. Additional work beyond what was agreed may incur extra fees.
Storage of your footage
Once your footage and twin are delivered, looking after them is your responsibility. Long-term storage is not guaranteed. I make no promise to keep or store your footage, and you should not rely on me holding a copy. Keep your own backup of anything you want to retain.
Limit of responsibility
I take my work seriously and stand behind it. To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid me for the service the claim relates to. I am not liable for losses caused by things outside my control, including third-party platform changes, outages, or misuse by others.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from them or from our work together will be dealt with under New Zealand law and in the New Zealand courts.
